The 15 days Uganda-Rwanda-Congo tours is a  combination of  3 countries highlighting major touristic destinations covering most of the wanted safari activities among them include; Gorilla trekking, Golden monkey tracking, Game viewing, hike to Nyirangongo.

Day 1. Arrival in Entebbe on 15 days Uganda-Rwanda-Congo

Our guide will pick you up on arrival at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning at 7:30am, you will be picked from the hotel by your guide and set off for Murchison  Falls national park. You will stop along before Murchison to track white rhino at the ziwa Rhino sanctuary, have lunch enroute and then continue to Murchison falls national park. Tour around the waterfalls and hear the roaring sound of the great river Nile.

Day 3: Early morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise.

After an early cup of coffee, you will go for game drive. During this morning drive, the park guides will take you through section of the park were you will have several opportunities to spot four of Africa’s Big 5 which include Elephants, Lions, Leopards and Buffalo. You will enjoy the beautiful views of the African Savannah and also spot various mammals, Hartebeest, giraffes, Bushbucks, hyena, Jackal, the Uganda Kob among several creatures. In the afternoon, head out for a launch cruise along the river Nile, the Nile has the largest concentration of crocodiles and hippos you will be able to see these two massive creatures up-close. Bird lovers will be excited to see a large collection of both resident and migratory species. Some of the bird species include the rare shoebill stork, Goliath Heron, Black-headed Gonolek, African Skimmer, Long-toed Plover, Fish Eagle, Saddle-billed Stork and Grey-crowned Crane.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Rise up early to take breakfast and prepare for the long journey to Kibale. Along the way, view the beautiful rolling hills of Uganda and locals in their gardens and markets. 15 days Uganda-Rwanda-Congo, You will stop for lunch in Fort Portal and take a tour around this small town. You will also see the headquarters of the Toro Kingdom before heading to the nearby Kibale National Park.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to queen Elizabeth National Park.

After breakfast set off to Kibale headquarters for briefing from the head park guide about what to expect and how to conduct your self during the chimpanzee tracking adventure. Trekking for chimpanzees normally takes 3-5 hours after which you will return to your hotel for lunch. You will then transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. The journey to Queen Elizabeth national park takes 3 hours. You will reach early in the evening for optional evening game drive along the Kasenyi sector.

Day 6: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise.

Wake up early morning at around 6am for the morning game drive along the kasenyi tracks to spot the early morning predators and other nocturnal animals before they retreat to their hideouts, herds of buffalos, elephants, leopards, lions and various species of antelopes, return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch then at 2 pm head to kazinga channel for the launch cruise to spot hippopotamus, different water birds, and many more herds of buffalos along the shores.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi

After early morning breakfast embark on the road and head to Bwindi through Queen Elizabeth ishasha sector where you will be lucky to see the famous tree climbing lions among others. Continue to  Bwindi forest impenetrable national park arriving early in the evening.

Day 8: Gorilla tracking in Bwindi National Park Uganda and cultural walk.

After early morning breakfast, head to the park offices for briefing on gorilla trekking that takes place at 7:00 am. You will be assigned a gorilla family before heading out to the park. Many gorilla trekkers prefer hiring porters to help with extra luggage. Then in the afternoon visit, the Batwa Pygmy community for cultural activities, and their history will fascinate you.

Day: 9 Transfer to volcanoes national park

You will wake up refreshed to take a late breakfast before embarking on the journey to Rwanda. Enjoy the journey and the beautiful countryside of Uganda and Rwanda. Lunch will be taken en route. You will reach early at the Volcanoes national park and rest so as to be ready for your second gorilla trekking in Rwanda the following day.

Day 10: Mountain gorilla trekking in Rwanda

Get up early, take breakfast, and head for a briefing on gorilla tracking at 7:00 am at the Kinigi headquarters in Musanze. After one hour with the gorilla family, you will return to the starting point where you will meet our guide to take you back to the lodge for lunch and rest. In the evening, 15 days Uganda-Rwanda-Congo, you will be taken to visit the Iby’iwachu cultural village for the taste of the Rwanda culture.

Day 11: Hike to Dian Fossey

You will start the day by waking up early. Take breakfast and go to the volcanoes national park offices for briefing before hiking up to Dian Fossey tombs. Select your porter if you have extra luggage or heavy equipment. While there you learn so much about this lady who dedicated her life to conserving the mountain gorillas through the documentary “gorillas in the mist’ Afterwards, head to the lodge for lunch and rest before going for an evening drive to visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera.

Day 12:Golden monkey tracking- transfer to Gisenyi.

Wake up early for another exciting day, after you will go for briefing about golden monkey tracking at the park headquarters. Golden monkeys are endangered primates looking so bright because of their color. As you track them, expect to spot other primates in the forest. On return, you will have lunch and then set off to Gisenyi on Lake Kivu.

Day 13:Nyirangongo hike

Rise up very early for breakfast and then cross into Congo via Goma border. You will drive up to Kibatsi village where Nyiragongo starting point is situated. 15 days Uganda-Rwanda-Congo, Begin your hike towards the Nyiragongo summit after a briefing from the head staff. Hiking to the Nyiragongo summit usually lasts 4 – 6 hours depending on the group fitness. Dinner and overnight at the Top shelters.

Day 14:Descend Nyiragongo

After an early breakfast, you will descend down the summit reaching down in the afternoon and cross over back to Rwanda. You will then drive to Kigali reaching in the evening.

Day 15: City tour of Kigali and departure.

After breakfast, you will go for Kigali city tour. Visit the genocide memorial, local markets, first house among others. Later transfer to airport for departure if on schedule. End of Tour

3 Days Akagera Wildlife Safari Rwanda Adventure

The 3 days Murchison falls safari Uganda takes you to an Ultimate experience of the World’s most powerful waterfall located in North Western part of Uganda. The park is the largest National park in Uganda with an area of 3840sq.kms. While on this journey, you will encounter the Big 5 mammal species like elephants, leopards, lions, buffaloes and the rhinos, you will also get an opportunity to view the Nile crocodiles, Hippos, bush bucks and various bird species like black bee eater, rare shoebill stork, weavers, grey crowned crane among others.

Best Time To Visit – Uganda

The best time to visit Uganda is from June to August and December to February, which are the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak then. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Uganda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and you can’t avoid rain completely. However, after heavy rain, the skies often open up to bright sunshine.
