More than I could have dreamed
I did a 10 day safari with Mildred, through African Tours Adventures and it was everything I could have hoped for and more! The lodges were gorgeous, the food was delicious (and so much of it), my guide Mildred made sure I had the time of my life. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about nature, animals, and Uganda. I learned so much from her! She has eagle-eyes and could spot ALL of the animals and birds. As a single female traveler, I requested a female guide through African Tours Adventures. Mildred made sure the individual guides that would take me one-on-one were females too. She went above and beyond every single day. We saw the Big 5, all the antelope species, hippos, crocs, gorillas, chimpanzees (one touched me!!), golden monkeys, countless birds, and so much more. Absolutely stunning. She was the perfect guide for me. I dreamt of doing a safari since I was a child, but this safari was better than I could have ever dreamed. I’m telling everyone I can to do this safari with Mildred. First visit, forever in love with the Country
From the moment we were picked up in Kigali by Jovia the experience started off fabulously. Our 3 hour drive flew by as Jovia answered our questions and filled us in on the history of the people, communities, the Country and so much more. She provided comfort with her smile and learned our snack preferences 😎. Coke Zeros at every turn! Every outing was smooth and perfect. On our last day we felt we were sayin goodbye to a friend. Hi had a wonderful experience with Africa Tours adventures. They offer a brilliant price point and great itinerary. I felt very safe as a solo female driver, and enjoyed the company of my wonderful guide Levan. I visited both Uganda and Rwanda, and the hotels selected for the mid range option was fantastic! As a vegan Levan always made sure I had something to eat. The mode of transport is a Land Cruiser, so perfect to get around across the many nationals parks and with great views. An unforgettable experience in Uganda
We had an amazing 8-day trip through Uganda, with the highlight undoubtedly being the incredible experience of seeing the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. Our guide and driver was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He was always attentive to our needs, happy to answer all our questions, and shared a lot of interesting information about Uganda, its wildlife and local culture. The gorilla trekking was simply unforgettable. Being so close to the gorillas in their natural environment is a truly unique experience and something we will remember for the rest of our lives. Watching them peacefully in the forest, just a few metres away, was absolutely incredible. We are very happy with the whole experience and would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to discover Uganda and experience the gorillas. An exceptional experience with Africa Tours Adventure
Up front: We spent two wonderful and unforgettable weeks exploring Uganda with our guide, Levan. We found Africa Tours Adventure while researching different tour operators for our trip. From the very beginning, communication with Nicolas via email and WhatsApp was quick, professional, and straightforward. He suggested several itinerary options and, after a few adjustments, we had the perfect trip planned. Levan picked us up in Entebbe right on time, and from that moment on, everything was taken care of. The vehicle was in excellent condition, clean, and obviously very well maintained. What really made the trip special was Levan himself. He wasn't just an excellent driver and guide—he shared an incredible amount of knowledge about Uganda, its people, culture, families, wildlife, national parks, nature, roads, and everyday life. We learned so much throughout the journey. At the same time, he was genuinely interested in learning about our lives and family back in Germany, which made every conversation enjoyable and personal. The two weeks flew by, and we boarded our flight home with countless unforgettable memories, new impressions, and a much deeper understanding of this beautiful country. Levan is an outstanding and highly professional ambassador for Africa Tours Adventure. We felt safe, welcome, and well looked after at all times. The selected lodges were clean, comfortable, and safe, and all activities were well organized and exactly as promised. Thank you for an amazing journey. Unfassbar tolle Erfahrung! Unser Guide Justus hat sich super um uns gekümmert und wir haben uns stets sicher gefühlt! Alle Lodges waren sehr cool und die Aktivitäten (Chimpansen Trekking, Safari und Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth Nationalpark + Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Nationalpark) waren perfekt organisiert. Fantastic and seamless experience
This was the best trip ever. I was a solo traveller and Justus, my guide, made the whole experience so seamless. We even rescued a baby zebra on the way. The whole thing from the accommodations, lodgings, treks, transportation was so professional yet friendly, it was an amazing amazing experience. He kept checking in on me even after the tour finished and giving valuable advice on navigating Uganda. The only company you need to book with if you want to do ANYTHING Uganda related. Trip of a lifetime to Uganda
My wife and I just returned from a 21-day safari with African Tours Adventure in Uganda. It was truly a trip of a lifetime! This was a bespoke trip for the two of us. We planned the itinerary with Nicholas for almost a year before we actually did the trip. He was very helpful in designing an itinerary that fitted well with our interests and abilities (we are both retired wildlife biologists). Nicholas personally met with us our first day in Uganda. The guide assigned to us, Barnabas, was very knowledgeable and experienced. He was our driver, our safari guide, our bird guide (his deep knowledge of birds was much appreciated) and 'Dad". The trip was well-organized and everything happened as planned. There were no surprises, no hidden costs. We have no hesitation recommending African Tours Adventure as an outstanding tour company. Surely recommended, one of our best safaries
We have just spent 10 days on Uganda safari with Africa Tours Adventure. It was one of our best safaries and we were 100% satisfied with it. Highlights were Murchison falls NP with boat trip, Kigale NP with chimpansees, Bwindi NP with gorilla tracking. But also Mgahinga NP with golden monkey tracking, Lake Mutanda and Rwanda experience with Kigali genocide memorial were great places to see. Planning our route, choosing the accomodation, securing all permits, arranging our departure from Rwanda, there was always quick Nicholas response and very reasonable advice. But the best of all was Barnabas, our guide. Excellent driver, wise ,nice man, with knowledge not only of Uganda and itś beauties. We felt perfectly safe in his hands and we felt, that he would do everything to secure the best for us.
