2 days Rwanda gorillas will entirely be in Volcanoes national park where you will be able to meet mountain gorillas at a close range. Volcanoes national park is found within Virunga conservation areas, covered within the 8 volcanoes, other parks shared in this area are Mgahinga gorilla national park in Uganda and Virunga national park in Congo.

The 2 days gorilla tour is ideal for people interested in seeing the gorillas on short notice but already within the country for other errands. This gorilla safari is a one-time unforgettable experience meeting a settled gorilla family in a communal gathering of about 8-10 members led by the silverback as the head of the family. in some instances, you will find two silverbacks in one gorilla family which implies the other silver-backs had to submit to his leadership or else break away and start their own families.

Volcanoes national park is about 2-hour drive from Kigali. As you drive to the park, you will go through the beautiful rolling hills of the countryside in Musanze district until you reach the park.

Best Time To Visit – Uganda

The best time to visit Uganda is from June to August and December to February, which are the Dry seasons. Wildlife viewing is at its peak then. Primate walks in the forest are a big part of any safari in Uganda. The habitat of rainforests is, by default, very wet, and you can’t avoid rain completely. However, after heavy rain, the skies often open up to bright sunshine.

Is it safe to travel to Uganda?

Uganda is a safe country to visit, especially when your part of an organized game drive with private guides, as you will be with us. These tours are designed to enhance your safety and provide you with a well-guided experience. There are, of course, some places to avoid in big cities like Kampala or Entebbe. But – as with everywhere else in the world – you’ll be fine by taking some precautions. Just some examples to be on the safe side, pun intended, don’t explore the city at night without a driver or guide, keep your valuables close to you, avoid wearing prominent and visible jewelry, and leave some things like passports in the hotel safe.
